The Kasese Municipal Education Officer, Mr. Emmy Mwesigye Kayiri has urged the youths to embrace computer skills if they to thrive in the job competitive world.
His remarks came at the closure of a-three weeks’ computer training at KLAMSEN Institute of Applied Technologies under Rwenzori community development network in Kikonzo cell, Railway Ward Kasese municipality.
According to Mr. Kayiri, the chief guest who noted that computer literacy is important for several reasons including broadening job opportunities, keeping up with technological changes among others added that it also enable individuals to have a foundational understanding making it easier to learn more advanced technologies that would also help them make their own jobs thank seeking for less competitive white color jobs.
