    By Kyamanduma Patrick,

Hon. Godfrey Kabbyanga, the State Minister for National Guidance has called for more focus and hard work among the youth if they were to be relevant to their families and nation.

He was also concerned about the deteriorating morals as a result of drug and alcohol abuses, putting a deaf ear on education and failure to know God.

Speaking to the media shortly after addressing hundreds of youth at their International Youth day for Kasese Municipality at Kasese Multipurpose hall, Hon. Kabbyanga who had come with some South Korean youth to share ideas with their counterparts here, reminded the young people that to get an omelet, one breaks an egg.

Hon. Kabbyanga who asked the youth to shy away from bad peer groups, asked them to engage in productive work than spending the little they earn on luxuries. Hon. Kabbyanga speaking………

The Kasese district chair, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi who emphasized skills acquisition by the young people, called for a mindset change among youth, some of whom have misguided by their family lacking backgrounds. Mr. Muhindi speaking…

Some youth including Ms Bridget Masika, a student of Liberty College in Kasese Municipality like others, asked her peers to embrace hands on skills that would turn them into economically viable and independent. Ms Bridget and others…..

His Worship Chance Kahindo, the Kasese Municipal Mayor like other leaders, asked the youth to be disciplined and hardworking if they were to achieve their dreams. END.
