    Youth Partnership Uganda extends clean & safe water in Ihandiro S/C

    Residents of Ihango one and Buhungamuyagha in Ihandiro sub county in Kasese have a reason to smile after Youth Partnership Uganda, a non-Governmental organization, extended clean and safe water to the areas.

    Mzee Eriya Kaku Bwambale, a 73 years old a resident of Ihango village welcomed the development he said will minimize risks associated with walking long distances for water and diseases caused by unclean water in the area. Mr. Kaku speaking…….

    The chairman local council three for Ihandiro sub county, Mr. Abel Liminya Bwambale hailed the organization for the project he said must be protected and her repairs done by the community members whose health was at stake over unsafe and dirty water. Mr Liminya speaking…

    Mr. Jolly Kambere, the partnership’s Executive Director called for ownership of the project by the locals to minimize water borne diseases and cases of child abuses that had been on the rise over selfish men who take advantage of young girls as they walk long distances for water.

    Most of the locals interviewed said the project was a dream come true, before pledging ownership for sustainability. END
