The Youth Office Diocese of Kasese will pay all church dues for couples intending to wed during mass wedding on 14th January, 2024, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusime, the Diocesan youth chaplain said the mass wedding is expected to be held at closure of the Diocesan youth conference at Catecatical center in Nsenyi Parish.
Speaking to Our Reporter in a separate interview shortly after flagging off the Diocesan youth walk with mother Mary for Forty days at St. Luke Kasokero Roman Catholic Church in Nsenyi Parish on Sunday, Fr. Tumusiime, asked Christians to use this rare opportunity of attaining matrimonial sacrament by registering to their Parish Priest.
The Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese, His Grace Lambert Bainemogisha together with the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt.Rev.Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale will preside over the mass wedding.

Fr.Tumusime said the decision to hold mass wedding was to bring on board couples who reportedly complain about financial challenges that hinder them from making wedding parties.
