Rev. Fr. Deogratius Kiibi Katerega, a cleric from Kampala Archdiocese has urged Young Men intending to marry to work hard or else they don’t deserve being husbands and fathers.
Fr. Kiibi who is the main facilitator at the ongoing diocese youth conference at Holy Trinity Kyalhumba, said some youth have complicated their lives over failure to make good use of their time.
While discussing courtship, Fr. Kiibi who however asked young ladies to be respectful, asked them during marriage time to target hardworking young men whose minds are geared to providing for and developing their families. Fr. Kiibi speaking …..
He also said asked the young woman to closely associate themselves with love for others, accommodative language and dressing code, domestic work, family management skills and discipline before thinking of marrying. Fr. Kiibi speaking2……
The Kasese Diocesan Youth Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime argued the youth against turning the conference into intimacy grounds but a platform for prayer and a reflection of their past so as to guide their future. Fr. Tumusiime speaking ….
The diocesan Youth chairperson, Francis Kapurasis asked the youth to utilize the conference to cement their relationship with their Lord in preparation for the death and resurrection of Christ.
The conference is under the theme “Mary arose with haste” as it is in Luke 1:39. END
