Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese has asked the children of the late Mzee Leo Bwambale to write a comprehensive life history of their fallen father whose life need to be celebrated for guiding his family in the right direction.
The Pastor’s recommendation followed messages of appreciation by the late Mzee Leo’s children who looked at their fallen father as a unifying factor in promoting charity, love, unity, peace, hard work and value for life among them. Mr. Leonard and Ms. Denize speaking……
In his speech shortly after a memorial and thanksgiving mass whose homily was presided over by Vicar General Diocese of Kasese Msgr. Landus Bwambale, Bishop Kibira who called for unity among the deceased’s family members, asked the late Leo’s children to appreciate each one’s weakness and promote the legacy of their father by documenting his dreams that the family talked vastly about.

The family heir who is also the Deputy Executive Director for Uganda Micro-Finance Center, Ms Helen Petronila Masika revealed to the Bishop that by establishing St. Leo Foundation, a community development project to cater for the less privileged, was basically to cement the legacy by their late father. In his brief but touching speech,Mr. Barnabas Bamusedee Bwambale, the former Kasese district local council chairperson and great friend to the late Mzee Leo, described the deceased as a great innovator and development oriented brain who initiated from scratch, Kyogha Students’ Association mainly to mobilize learners to go, keep and complete school.
