    Woman said to have died over negligence of medical staff at Bwera Hospital

    Local leaders in Karambi subcounty in Kasese district have called for investigations over whether an expectant Mother could have lost life under what the deceased`s family perceive as negligence of medical staff at Bwera general hospital.

    A source from the deceased`s family believes that the expectant mother couldn’t have died should the Medical doctor on duty been available.

    The Karambi subcounty secretary for Social services, Hon. Joachim Kangaluma said the deceased, Ms Glades Kato Masika 41 from Kamasasa two village required the expertize of a medical doctor who wasn’t available on duty at the time of need.

    According to Hon. Kangaluma, the late Gladys breathed her last as the family struggled to put her in a car later in the night to Kagando hospital.  Hon. Kangalhuma speaking……

    The senior hospital administrator, Mrs. Best Kambale Bakoko said she had just heard about the allegations she couldn’t believe but that she would make an official statement later this afternoon after associating herself fully with the reports.
