There was reported heated verbal exchanges between angry residents of Nyamugasane cell in Kisinga-Kagando town council in Kasese district and some local leaders as the former demanded for the immediate eviction of Ms. Ziresi Biira Nya Joel for practicing witchcraft.
Whereas some local leaders demanded that the suspect welcome the ideal of guidance by spiritual leaders, the local residents were pieced of by what they call the threats and pride Nya-Joel attach to witchcraft.
During a community meeting chaired by the local leadership of Kisinga town council, Ms. Kevin Mbambu, a business woman and a neighbor to the suspect like other local residents, asked the suspect to confess and handover herself to the Church or be evicted immediately after she threatened to deal with them as she did before to their deceased relatives.

A close friend to the suspect Mama Nya Kambulhe who could not stop her tears, revealed that whereas many local residents had abandoned Nya-Joel, she had kept close to her until she agrees that she belonged to the devil and was ready for Salvation. Nya Kambulhe speaking……
