The Kasese district local council five chairperson, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi has acknowledged the limited number of veterinary officers in Kasese district; asking the local community members to timely utilize the few offers at their disposal in case of need.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio yesterday, Mr. Muhindi said whereas there are unending criticism by the community over the untimely veterinary services, officers are too few compared to the demand of the community. Mr. Muhindi speaking……
Mr. Muhindi later asked farmers to form and keep in groups that veterinary officers can train on basics so as to help them attend to their domestic animals without necessarily inviting the technical staff.
