Residents of Busongora South Constituency have been asked to vote for the people who will cause development and unity not those who will divide them basing on political parties.
This was revealed on Saturday by the area MP Hon. Jackson Mbaju Kathika during his campaign rallies at Kibiri trading centre and Kyamugoma-Rwabitoke village in Muhokya sub-county. He noted that he will fight for the constituents in all ways of achieving development in the next five years adding on what he has lobbied for them in the concluded political term 2016-2021.
Kathika said so far central government has sent shs 190B to the constituency to work upon different projects like roads, water, electricity, education and support to saving and credit groups.
He added that 63 state house scholarships have been lobbied in which others have been distributed even in other constituencies of the district, noting that he wants to lobby for support to secondary schools that have been established in the area by different stakeholders. Kathika explaining……….
Kathika maintained that Kasese should be split vertically into other districts to extend services closer to the local people, claiming that the district has been benefiting little on government programmes because of being big. Kathika on split……
Bina Kimera the LC1 chairperson Rwabitoke village asked the MP to continue working for the local people regardless of their political parties, noting that an elected leader should be able to serve his electorates without considering what they believe in politically. Bina speaking………
Meanwhile Erick Muthanywana a resident of Kyamugoma-Rwebitoke thanked the MP for giving them pumping machines, hoes, financial support to groups and the water pipes.
