The Vicar General Diocese of Kasese, Msgr Landaus Bwambale has encouraged elected leaders at Parish Council to engage in promoting church values, education, livelihood and economic transformation for the sustainability of the Church.
Addressing the Parish laity council Executive members in the diocese of Kasese at the Bishops Hall ahead of the diocesan Laity council election yesterday, Msgr Landaus urged Catholics to get involved in active politics despite the positions they hold in church to serve the public with truth and justice.
Msgr Landaus who wondered why some laity council leaders have not fulfilled their obligation asked them to work in collaboration with catholic founded schools for better performance, empower them, become business oriented and visible in all sectors. Msgr Landaus speaking ……

The Kasese Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Godfrey Sunday who also asked leaders to work and pray quoted Cardinal Marcinkus who said the church cannot run only on Hail Mary saying the result of yesterday’s election will be officially announced by the Bishop after his approval.
