    UWA pleas for voluntary labour force to construct electric wire fence on parks.

    Residents of Kahokya Sub County in Kasese district have embarked on Voluntary clearing of pathway for electric wire fence in a bid to address long time challenge of animal problem in the area.

    This follows UWAs plea to have Voluntary labour force to enable them construct an electric wire fence that would curb the challenge of animal inversion into farmer’s gardens.

    Speaking to Our Reporter shortly after addressing his electorates the Chairperson LC 3 Kahokya sub county Mr. Nyesio Bwambale Byamutima hailed the residents and said his electorates have decided to offer Voluntary labour so that they can address challenge of animal inversion.     The Kasese district councilor Representing Kahokya sub county Hon. Doviko Kyabanawandi said he was optimistic that electric wire fence will be erected by the beginning of next month.

    Some farmers who participated in clearing the pathway for electric wire fence Ms. Ngundu Kabugho and Ms. Bisogho Nya Jovia told our reporter they have decided to join the rest of the farmer’s in the Voluntary work so that they can address challenge of animal inversion into their gardens.
