The local council one chairperson for Kikorongo village, Lake Katwe sub-county in Kasese district, Mr. Doviko Kule calls for more vigilance and commitment by game rangers whom he says have not done much to block the few outlets that wild animals take advantage of, to sneak from Queen Elizabeth national park.
Mr. Doviko said that whereas Central government had done a commendable job of installing an electric fence, there were a few uncovered places that wild animals use to threaten lives and property as game rangers at a nearby ranger post reportedly looked unbothered.
