Rev. Fr. Joseph Kirungi, the Kasese Parish Priest has asked Church servants to stick to their roles aimed at defending and enlighten the world about the risen Christ.
In his homily while presiding over holy Mass during which three Catechists were commissioned at St. Balikundembe- Rukoki Catholic Church yesterday, Fr. Joseph Kirungi asked Church servants to live exemplary by acting in a manner that will proclaim the goodness in the resurrection of Christ.
Fr. Kirungi said the service and love of Christ should be seen in the lives of Catechists whom he asked to light the way for the children of God.

Speaking to our reporter shortly after Mass, Mr. Pimako Kasereka, the local council three Chairperson for Nyamwamba division said the commissioning of the Catechists was timely against the increasing cases of laziness, theft, discrimination and homosexuality that require the hands of both God’s servants alongside the local community and politicians.
