Hon. Faith Hodilah, the female councilor representing Nyamambuka ward in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council has asked the youth to engage in sports as a business to earn a living instead of tagging sports to leisure only.
She said people outside are earning a lot of money from sports, therefore youths in Kasese should use the available opportunities in and outside the country to earn a living.
She made the remarks yesterday while closing a one day Hon.Hodilah football tournament between the four mosques in Nyamambuka ward held at Kyanzi Play ground in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council.
Hon.Hodilah said football players are earning billions of shillings from the premier league in England, yet the youth here can also tap into such opportunities if they can be given an enabling environment.
She appealed to her electorates to rally behind her in the general elections 2026 to enable her accomplish her tasks including, rehabilitating community access roads, Electricity and water extension among others. Hon. Hodilah speaking…..
