Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Kasese Resident District Commissioner has asked Rwenzururu Veterans to use the cultural institution to cause unity and social economic transformation.
Addressing Rwenzururu Veterans at Kamaiba youth center in Kasese town today, Walunsimbi called on the veterans to cooperate and work together, warning against anyone who oppresses and mistreats people.
He asked the Rwenzururu Veterans to Love the king, Protect and respect his cabinet.
Lt. Walunsimbi commended the Veterans for their contribution towards the Rwenzururu struggle urging them to support Government programs and sensitize their children about the cultural values and norms.

He cautioned politicians against using the cultural institution to win political favors, emphasizing that the Rwenzururu cultural institution is impartial.
