Religious leaders across Kasese District have called on members of the public to uphold peace and unity during the 2026 general elections.
Rev. Ezra Yongeza Mukonzo made the remarks during a one-day Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Stakeholders’ Dialogue meeting organized by RFPJ, held yesterday at Rwenzori International Hotel in Kasese Town.
Rev. Mukonzo noted that both pre- and post-election periods in Uganda have often been marred by the loss of lives and property.
