Security is said to be on full alert following suspicions of Allied Democratic Forces operatives sighted along river Mpondwe in Isango subcounty in Kasese district.
Whereas no official report has been registered by this radio from the UPDF, Mr. Moses Tsutsu, the local council three chairperson and security head for Isango subcounty confirmed that a 14 year old boy, a local resident of Kyembe village in the subcounty, had been put on gun point by three suspicious men who later vanished into the river valley after threats to the stripling.
According to Mr. Tsutsu, the lad seemed to have kept silent over the threats until he later opened up to his gramp whose identity this radio will not reveal for security reasons. Mr. Tsutsu speaking1………
Mr. Tsutsu who called for intensified vigilance and timely reports by the locals especially as the world enters into the busier Xmas period, revealed that about a week ago, a rifle was discovered rapped in a kavera in the neighboring Kyambogho cell in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council and handed over to the UPDF.
