At least 100 Residents yesterday turned up for free medical services during a 15-day health camp organized by the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces-UPDF at Nyakimasa Health centre three in Bwera sub-county, Kasese district.
The initiative was part of the 44th Tarehe Sita celebrations hosted today in Greater Masaka.
The UPDF medical team provided a range of services, including HIV testing and counselling, cervical cancer screening, Malaria testing and dental care, among others.
Mr. Uriah Mugisha, the Health centre three in charge for Nyakimasa told our reporter, the UPDF will leave Nyakimasa after fifteen days.
