The Uganda Peoples’ Congress-UPC party in Kasese District has today contributed two million shillings cash towards the Homecoming of Rwenzururu King, His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma, slated on Wednesday next week.
The donation was delivered by Mr.Asasio Karamaji, the Kasese District UPC leader and handed over to the secretariat represented by, Mr.Godfrey Kiwede at Shiloh Gardens in Kasese town.
Mr. Karamaji, who described the homecoming of King Mumbere as historical in Rwenzori region, said during Obote two regime, UPC party played a key role towards the restoration of the cultural institution.
