Road users along the Kikorongo-Muhokya high way in Kasese district have called for routine interventions by Uganda National Roads Authority to unblock the road stretch that has been narrowed by soils and sand swept down from the hills.
According to reports, part of the road has also been blocked by stones, tree branches and a thick layer of sand.
The sub county chief for Nyakiyumbu in Kasese district, Mr. Mustafa Kikusa said he was equally a victim of the situation that has forced mud along the high way, calling for the intervention of UNRA before the area turns into a death trap. Mr. Mustafa speaking……..
He also called for more consciousness by road users especially motorists or else, accidents may be on the rise. END.
