Uganda and Rwanda military officials have agreed to hold quarterly meetings to address security challenges at the border.
Addressing the media after a three-day high-level security meeting at the Las Vegas Gardens hotel in Mbarara, Lt. Gen. Kayanja Muhanga, the UPDF Commander of Land Forces, said that the two countries are faced with numerous security concerns along their southern and western borders that need joint efforts, including plans against threats of the Allied Democratic Forces operating from the Democratic Republic of Congo to destabilize the countries.
