Suicide cases in Uganda remain a big issue that affects families and communities, including having long-lasting effects on people left behind.

In Kasese again, Mr. Juvenile Muke, the sub-county chairperson for Kyondo sub-county this evening, confirmed a suicide case by Ms Felesi Masika, resident of Buyagha village in Ibimbo parish, who reportedly committed suicide by hanging in a house where she lived with her child. Mr. Jovenal Muke speaking……..

Uganda is ranked the 11th country in suicide cases globally where World Health Organization reports that suicide cases accounts for more than 700,000 deaths annually. END
