The Kasese district Vice Chairperson, Hon. Jetress Ithungu has expressed fear over the future of her electorates who have not only had poor harvests this season but also lost business after Uganda-DR Congo border in Kasese was closed over the COVID-19 threats.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio by phone yesterday, Hon Jatress was worried that the situation in her area of representation was scaring and could promote theft, domestic violence, psychological and physical torture among others now that no much would be realized from cross border business and farming activities that largely account for the livelihoods of her electorates.
