By Posiano Bwambale,
Two suspected thieves survived narrowly this morning after a failed attempt to steal a motorcycle with two boxes of soft drinks tied on at our lady of assumption Kasese cathedral church, in Kasese town.
Its alleged that the yet to be identified thugs first disguised as Christians coming to attend the ongoing healing and deliverance mass, before stealing a motorcycle that belonged to unknown Christian who was allegedly busy praising the lord.
A UPDF officer attached to Kasese Cathedral church, Everest Agaba, trailed the suspects slowly pulling the motorcycle towards the main road, but when he stopped them for interrogation they allegedly left the motorcycle and run to different direction, forcing the officer to follow one and open fire to scare them but in vain.
The Officer, asked criminals targeting Kasese Cathedral church to either repent or risk losing their lives any time. Mr. Agaba speaking….
An eye witness on condition of anonymity, said she saw the suspect running towards Katadoba as the UPDF officer was following him shooting in the Air to scare him but he could not surrender.
