    Two staff of FURA survived death in Kasese.

    Two staff of Foundation for Urban and Rural advancement-FURA reportedly survived death last evening of (31st August 2020) after their vehicle they were traveling in overturned near Kasese Hospital along Kibazanga road in Kasese Municipality.

    The Kasese divisional traffic officer, ASP Kaganda confirmed the information and only identified the Vehicle as a Prado Registration Number UAU 528B belonging to the same organization.

    The Kasese Municipal councilor representing Nyakabingo two Ward, Hon. Margret Mafuta called for more consciousness and a fulfilment of the driving guidelines by drivers for their safety and that of other road users, before she sympathized with the car occupants whose incident was reportedly caused by a mechanical fault.     Earlier, a concerned local resident at the scene of the accident, Mr. Morris Muhindo Matangura thinks the driver could have lost control while he intended to avoid either a pothole or another road user.

    By the time this story was filed at 10pm, the vehicle had been towed to the Kasese Police station as investigation into the incident go on today. END.
