    Two month old baby assaulted in Mahango S/C- Police on investigation.

    Police have started investigation about two people that allegedly assaulted a two month old baby in Mahango sub-county Kasese district.

    The DPC Kasese division, ASP Alfred Bagenda confirmed the information and identified the suspects as, Gideon Basaliza and Kajungu Albert Thembo both residents of Kyalhumba Sub County.

    ASP Bagenda said the due who are already in police cells reportedly assaulted the baby during a land scuffle in Mahango sub-county last week.

    He urged the people to be calm and stop putting the law into their hands.

    The Chairperson LC 3 Mahango sub county in Kasese district, Mr. Eric Mathu Muhasa told our reporter that the land scuffle is between two conflicting families, before asking the DPC Kasese to organize a harmonization meeting soon.
