Two children are said to have been rushed to Mt. St. Mary`s hospital in Kasese Municipality after they were reportedly hit by a wall.
Mr. Peter Isingoma, an eye witness and local resident of Kikonzo cell in the Central division said that Vivian Masika and Viola Biira, both daughters of one Mr. Geoffrey Mubiwabo, were hit by a wall he suspects was too weak.
Mr. Isingoma later called on the landlords to monitor their houses so as to correct errors before they turn against lives. Isingoma speaking……
Hon. John Siriwayo, the area councilor and Kasese Municipal Secretary for works and Technical services called for routine repairs on houses especially during the rainy season to avoid disasters.
He also asked parents to have their children in school than leaving them at the mercies of God. Siriwayo speaking………..
Whereas no official comment from police had been obtained by this radio, Kasese Guide Radio learnt that the parents of the two children had rushed the victims to the health facility for medication. END
