    Two men survives lynching for stealing pork in Katadoba

    Two men are said to have survived death after an angry mob attempted to lynch them for reportedly stealing pork at a pork joint at Katadoba trading Centre in Kasese Municipality.

    No official comment has been obtained from police yet but Mr. Wilson Kiiza, the area local council one chairperson confirmed the incident and identified the suspects as one Jockus Kule 20 and Kambidi Kabila 20 years, both local residents of Katadoba cell.

    Mr. Kiiza who warned the locals against mob justice but instead involve the local leaders and police, said the suspects currently in police hands, had been at the Wanainchi’s wanted list till yesterday when they reappeared in the area days later. Mr. Kiiza speaking1……

    He called for hard work among the youth or else, they will always be suspected for any wrong thing.

    Mr. Rustus Isemamba, the cell Vice Chairperson who described theft as a big risk to life, said the arrest was made easy by a whistle blower and part of the scam who was not happy with the way the stolen pork was divided among them. Mr. Isemamba speaking………

    The Chairperson for Nyakabingo Ward, Mr. Isaac Kalyabyuma who rescued the suspects from the angry mob said one of the suspect, Jockus Kule told police that whereas he broke into the Butchery and handed over the stolen pork to Kabila Bambidi to sell, he wasn’t happy that the later handed in no money.
