    Two men arrested with a human skull in Kasese district

    Police and local council authorities in Nyamwamba division in Kasese municipality have arrested two men with a human skull.

    The suspects include, Raphael Bwambale, 40, and Bendele Mikidad 50, who were arrested this morning.

    William Mumbere, a member of the Nyamwmaba West LC 1 committee, says that they spotted the two with the skull at around 2:00 am while on a night patrol. They trailed them until they were finally arrested.

    Ms. Masika Zulufah, the General Secretary for Nyamwamba West local council, says that they had received reports from residents that there was a human skull in the area, usually used by thugs to scare their victims. 

    She said the two are known thieves in the area who have been arrested on several occasions but are somehow always released by police.

    ASP Nelson Tumushime, the Rwenzori East police spokesperson says the suspects are currently detained at Kasese CPS as investigations commence.
