Two brothers are said to have died during a four thousand shillings disagreement in Kibandya village, Kaghughu parish in Kagugu subcounty in Bundibugyo district.
No official comment yet from Police but the Kaghughu Parish Councilor, Hon. Charles Baluku confirmed the incident, saying that the late Mutokwe Kule in his thirties, reportedly attacked with a machete and killed his brother, Mr. Jackson Lyahinda over failure to refund his four thousand shillings as earlier on agreed.
Hon. Charles who condemned the incident said in retaliation, the irritated local residents got machetes too, killing Mr. Mutokwe Kule as well. Hon. Charles speaking………
Earlier, the Kaghughu parish chairperson, Mr. Timothy Kigoma described the incident as shocking, saying he immediately called in the subcounty local council three chairperson, the GISO among other local leaders, and involved the officers from the nearby UPDF detach until police took over the scene of crime to avoid more damage by the irritated locals.
