    Two arrested over attack on Adjumani district chairperson’s home

    Two people have been arrested in connection to an attack on the home of Adjumani district chairperson Ben Anyama in Adjumani Town Council.

    Unknown people attacked the home of the district chairperson in Forua Cell Adjumani Town Council On Friday night and burnt two vehicles that had been parked in the compound.

    In a press release issued on Saturday afternoon, the North West Nile Region Police Spokesperson, Ignatius Dragudu said the two suspects whose identities have been concealed for security reasons were picked up with the help of the sniffer dogs that were deployed at the crime scene.

    Dragudu notes that the canine dogs led the police detectives to the homes of the two suspects who are currently detained at Adjumani Central Police Station. END
