Two people are reported to have been arrested this afternoon in Kizungu cell in Nyamwamba division Kasese Municipality, over allegations of stealing thirteen chickens from a yet to be identified person.
Rwenzori East Region acting Police Spokesperson, SP. Luke Mbusa confirmed the information without divulging details.
However, the area local council one chairperson, Mr.Zephanus Wakibanahi, identified the suspects as Edwin Kule 22, a resident of Kaberere village in Kyondo sub-county and Lazaro Thembo 23, hailing from Kisanyarazi cell in Mubuku town council.
The suspects currently in custody at Kizungu Police post were arrested after a tip off from the local residents who became suspicious.
