By Augustine Mumbere,
Mr. Laurence Turuganya, the District service commission chairperson has called for individual audit among commissioners that are extorting money from the public into the alleged sale of public service jobs.
Speaking to our reporter at his office at the district headquarters yesterday, Turuganya described as corrupt individuals masquerading as agents of the district service commission receiving bribes on behalf of service commission.
His comment follows a public outcry that there is a group of civil servants and some politicians collecting money from individuals in exchange of Jobs at Kasese district service commission, urging the public to deal with them individually. Mr. Turuganya speaking…..
However, the Media and human rights activists in Kasese district have reportedly squeezed individuals and commissioners implicated in corruption scandals and have allegedly paid back the monies. END.
