By Augustine Mumbere,
Mr. Laurence Turuganya, the Kasese District Service Commission chairman has described as empty actions for councilors to pull ropes in council over what has been perceived as ‘’civil service job sale‘’ than presenting the victims.
He was also concerned that some MPs and oppositions leaders were lamenting that reporting suspects at police for arrests.
Addressing the media at his office at the district headquarters in Rukoki today, Mr. Turuganya who said more than 300 people had applied for civil service as guards, wonders why the recruitment of five councilors in the same positions had created dust when the candidates qualified under the law. Mr. Turuganya speaking…….
Mr. Turuganya later tasked focused Kasese people to come for a fact finding tour at his office than making conclusions based on hearsay.
Hon. Asasio Bwambale, the councilor for Nyakabingo, Hon. Pelusi Mweryabisandu for Kirabaho-Kabatunda town council and Bwesumbu sub county, as well as Hon. Johnson Mulekeri for Muhokya, Hon. Rabson Magoma and Jonan Bwambale for Mbunga subcounties are the councilors who have been appointed as security guards after the recent district recruitment. END
