Trade is set to ease between Kasese and Bunyangabo following the government plan aimed to rehabilitate Kyoho Bridge in Bwesumbu Sub-County that connects the two districts.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio yesterday shortly after site visit of the bridges that were affected by the devastated floods, Kasese district Chairperson Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo said the district has begun a Video documentation of all bridges affected by floods that will later be submitted to central government to assess the impact of Disaster.
Mr. Bigogo who said only side Box culverts are reported to have been washed away by floods on Kyoho bridge compared to other bridges, appealed to residents to become calm, as the district temporarily culverts. Mr. Bigogo 1……
Mr. Bigogo said once completed, the bridge will also be a step towards creating an alternative shorter route for travelers.
