    Tow houses in Upper Customs cell in MLTC were raided with unknown thieves.

    Properties worth unspecified amount of money were stolen by unknown thieves who raided two houses in Upper Customs cell in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council, Kasese district.

    Kasese guide radio is yet to get acoment from Police but the Chairperson LC one for Kambukamabwe one village in Karambi sub county, Kasese district where the stolen properties was  found Mr. Semu Makuniha  confirmed the information and said the thieves raided the two houses at night and took away properties worthy million of money.

    Our agent in the area who rushed to the scene Mr. Ventino Kambasu said one of the suspects who has been detained at Customs police was temporarily staying in Kambukamabwe as he would keep stealing from Upper customs and then hides in a different area.

    Just yesterday the head of Casual laborers in Mawa market warned that theft could increase as most people will run poor after restriction from work over Corona Virus. END.
