The Kasese district acting senior Probation and social welfare officer, Ms. Zainabu Asiimwe has called for joint support into investigations against the Kasese district Male youth Councilor Kisinga town council over alleged defilement.

Ms. Zainabu wonders how the community representative, Hon. Salhume Munduwabo whose roles among others include protecting the rights of children, was the one abusing them.

The harshly speaking Ms. Zainabu calls for expedited investigations that will most likely expose what she described as selfishness against the rights of an innocent young girl by Hon. Salhume whom she said will act as an example of greedy local leaders. Ms. Zainabu speaking1……

The disappointed speaking Ms. Zainabu who asks elected leaders to join the campaign against early and unwanted pregnancies and marriages among teens, could not believe that Hon. Salume defilement allegation followed another scenario same day where a subcounty Speakers stood surety of a defiler. Ms. Zainabu speaking2………

In a recent interview, many local community members have described Ms. Zainabu as a true, transparent, hardworking and fearless civil servant whose efforts against child abusers need to be supported fully by government and her development partners.

One Gregory Musabe however wasn’t sure if Ms. Zainabu`s supervisors welcome her patriotism and efforts to save children from abusers. END.
