Uganda Peoples Defense Forces has finally broken the silence about the arrest of suspected Allied Democratic Forces operatives in Kasese district.
Kasese Guide Radio yesterday could not succeed to get an official statement about three suspected rebels said to have been arrested in Kyogha village, Bwera Sub County in Kasese district.
The UPDF Spokesperson for Operation Shujja and UPDF Mountain Division based in Muhoti in Fort-portal city, Major Bilari Katamba confirmed the arrests and identified the suspects as one Mr. Majidu Leusi Masereka 31 hailing from Bwera in Kasese district, Mr. Musa Asuman 17, an inborn of Busia district and Mr. Abdul Hamidu 23 who hails from Mayuge district.
According to Major Katamba, seventy Rounds of ammunitions and three AK 47 guns and two military Uniforms from the DR Congo armed forces among others, were recovered during the operations against suspects. Major Katamba speaking1……
Major Katamba who asked ADF fighters to handover to the UPDF for Amnesty, said the suspects could have been part of the notorious rebel operator, Amigo whose platoon had been overrun by the UPDF and their Counterparts in the DRC.
