Police have started investigations into circumstances under which three people were reportedly knocked by a speeding vehicle at Kyababinga junction along Kasese-Mbarara high way in Kasese Municipality.
SP Nelson Tumushime, the Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, confirmed the incident and identified the victims as Mr. Stephen Katusime, a Boda-Boda rider.

The passengers are; Mr. Muhammad Tony Kenene Tonny, a market vendor, admitted at Mt, St, Mary’s Hospital and Mr. Joachim Bwambale currently receiving medication at St. Paul’s Hospital in Kasese municipality.
At his sick bed at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital, the 19-year-old Boda –Boda rider from eKyababinga stage, Mr. Stephen Katusime whose one leg has been amputated, said they were knocked as he crossed the road to Kyababinga trading Centre. Mr. Katusiime speaking……
