Thousands of people attended Omukekera at Kisinga Playground

There was fight for breathing space as thousands of people yesterday attended a live drama, Omukekera, presented by Kasese Guide Radio at Kisinga playground, Kisinga town council in Kasese district.

Representing the main sponsors, the Holy Cross Sisters, Rev Sr. Semeritah Kaseese who asked those at the drama show to deliver the message for self-confidence and hard work, said their congregation had established centers for rehabilitation, skilling, and spiritually guiding domestic workers some of whom return to Uganda from the Arab world with no hope about the future.

Hon. Marylyn Kabugho Kighotha, an intending Woman Member of Parliament for Kasese district reminded the community that she was still in active politics before asking the young people to work hard and use the available centers to acquire skills that will reshape their living conditions than suffering in the Arab world.

Through his representative, Rt. Hon. Edwin Kugonza Bayiringa, an intending MP for Bukonzo County East in Kasese district pledged to continue lobbying should the local population continue supporting him politically.

Mr. Benadicto Marule from Kyalhumba subcounty who appreciated Kasese Guide Radio and the drama sponsors for the presentations, regrets to have lost than investing his nine hundred thousand shillings in the hands of those he called conmen intending to fly him to Saudi Arabia. Mr. Marule speaking……
