The Youth in Nyakabingo II ward in Kasese Municipality have been asked to engage in subsistence production to improve their livelihood amidst biting unemployment, Mr. Isaac Kalyabyuma the LC 2 Chairperson has said.
This follows high engagement of youth in luxurious life that has allegedly forced some to resort to stealing.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio this afternoon, Mr. Kalyabyuma regretted last Sunday’s incident where unidentified people broke into the house church at Besenia and stole three goats.

The three goats were reportedly offered to the church during a thanks giving service.
Kalyabyuma advised the youth to utilize government’s funding of Parish Development Model to boost up their participation in crop production than resorting to theft of individual and church properties.
