The Kasese district Taskforce yesterday launched the supply of relief items to the needy people in Kanyangeya and Railway Wards in Kasese Municipality.
Presiding over the launch, the Kasese district COVID-19 Task force chairperson and Kasese RDC, Lt Joe Walusimbi commended the efforts of the donors, adding that his office had mainly targeted People living with disabilities, the elderly, Widows, HIV and AIDS Victims and families headed by children among others.

The Kasese Municipal Senior Community development officer, Mrs. Annette Kasumali Muthabazi asked the beneficiaries to be economical before hailing the donors who made it possible for more than 470 households to benefit.
Reliable sources have indicated that similar categories of needy people are to benefit in Nyakasanga one and two Wards in Nyamwamba Division. END.
