With just a few days remaining before Primary Seven candidates sit for their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), school proprietors have been urged to allow candidates with outstanding fees balances to sit for their exams.
Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, theLocal Council One Chairperson for Basecamp Lower cell in Kasese Municipality, noted that the practice of preventing candidates from sitting for their exams due to unpaid fees is unacceptable, as schools have had sufficient time to collect fees or reach an understanding with parents and guardians regarding payments.
Mr. Kigutiha asked the Kasese District Education Officer, Mr. Ernest Thabughaand the Kasese Municipal Education officeto caution school directors against any plans to stop candidates with fee balances from sitting for the examinations. Mr. Kigutiha Speaking…..
