The head teacher of Kaswa primary school in Kasese district is to record a statement at police over what has been described as perpetual absenteeism of his staff at the school.
Mr. Joshua Masereka, the Kasese Deputy RDC said out of ten teachers, the only three who turned up since schools opened in January, had left for burial on Monday when the RDC reached school for inspection.
Mr. Joshua also said he was going to ask the Kasese district education officer, Mr. George Mayinja to follow up on the matter.

He also challenged the local leaders and community to bothers against teachers who are only looking at receiving salaries but doing less to fulfill their roles. END
