The Deputy Minister for Gender in the Obusinga Bwa-Rwenzururu, Hon. Naome Mbambu has partly blamed the increasing cases of Domestic violence to some men whom he said were not only idle over the lock down but want to spend most of their time with their busy spouses in bed.

Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio yesterday, Hon. Naome who warned men against over drinking but work hard described keeping in bed by family heads as un called for the fact that their families have to survive. Hon. Naomi speaking1……..

Earlier the Ministry of Gender, Lobour and social development, Hon Frank Tumwebaze had asked all stakeholders including the civil society and faith based organizations among others to intervene in bringing down cases of domestic violence that is on the rise. END
