The Bishop of South Rwenzori Diocese, Rt. Rev Jackson Thembo Nzerebende has donated two tones of cassava flour to the district task force with a call on God fearing massively contribute needy people.
Handing over the donation, Bishop Nzerebende said that the contribution was a fulfillment of the President`s appeal for help to the needy whose situation is appealing as a result of the current lock down over the Corona virus.

Ms Victorina Biira a resident of Kisagazi cell andMr. Boniface Bwambale of Muhokya trading centre, both PWDs hailed the Good Samaritans and office of the RDC for the relief food they said had been timely to save the situation.
Earlier yesterday, the Kiima foods Executive Director, Mr. Francis Baita had handed relief items to the RDC that included among others fuel, washing utensils, sanitizers and soap among others worth more than eighteen million.

In a related incident the Chairperson for Kasese Garage operators and Boda-boda rider’s cooperative association ltd Mr. Gedion Kikundi had earlier handed over five hundred Kilograms of Posho to the task force to help the vulnerable people, including the PWDs, Boda-boda riders and the mechanics.
