The Body of the eleventh Rwenzururu Royal guard who died in Prison on remand, Late Richard Syamutsangira has been laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kakyindo cell in Maliba town council, Kasese district with a call on government to expedite process of freeing Rwenzururu King and his other co-accused suspects.
Whereas more than one hundred suspects over the 2016 Obuhikira palace attack by security were released on court bail, about fifty more were still on remand

Godfrey Katusabe Atkins like his counterparts in Opposition politics from Kasese were disappointed on learning that the Busongora North MP, Hon. Sewedi Kitanywa received the body of the late Syamutsangira before government gives a clear explanation about his death.
