High Court at Kasese has today dismissed an application seeking a temporary injunction against the mandate of Nyakatonzi Cooperative Union as Landlords of the contested piece of land that houses Unique Valley Primary school.
Addressing media shortly after a Court session this afternoon, the defense counsel and attorney for Nyakatonzi Cooperative Union, Mr. Geoffrey Michele from Spero Co. advocates, welcomed the judgment he said will enable him concentrate of the main case that determines the land ownership.
According to Mr. Michel, High Court’s decision has significant implications for both Unique Valley Primary school as the petitioner and Nyakatonzi Cooperative Union as the defendant, though the judge saw no cause why the union should not execute their mandate as court determines the main suit.
