Mr. Ernest Bwambale Thabugha, the district Education officer is concerned about the increasing number of primary teachers seeking early retirement.
Addressing the press at his Rukoki based office on Monday, Thabugha said since he assumed office over twenty teachers have submitted applications requesting for early retirement.
He said most teachers interviewed said they have lost passion for the profession, poor health and acquisition of multiple loans among others.
